This movie observes a journey through 30 hours that followed the earthquake of September 19th, 2017 in México City. It begins in a street named Escocia (Scotland) at the city’s downtown and ends in San Gregorio, Xochimilco at the southern outskirts of the city. The camera oscillates between a individual and collective experience.
Eduardo Makoszay Mayén, México City, 1992. Filmmaker and researcher whose practice is set among philosophy, documentary and ethology. His films have been screened in festivals such as CPH:DOX in Copenhagen, Sitges in Barcelona, Ji.hlava in the Czech Republic and art galleries like 67 in New York and FSC in Copenhagen. He enrolled in the Research Program and Transdiciplinary Practice in The New Centre. He also co-organizes the Cinema Club “15 asientos” in the French Institute of Latin America of the French embassy in México City.
Currently he leads a workshop on documentary film at the cultural center Faro Aragón.
